Allison Poyac-Clarkin

Allison Poyac-Clarkin, Senior Vice President of Programs, serves as a member of the Executive Management Team and oversees MSI’s extensive democracy, governance and conflict portfolio. With more than 20 years of development experience, Ms. Poyac-Clarkin brings substantial knowledge of conflict theory and assessment and robust technical expertise in countering violent extremism and promoting peace in conflict and post-conflict contexts. She has provided technical direction on several large-scale USAID-funded democracy and governance programs and served as chief of party for a USAID-funded program in Kosovo. She most recently led MSI’s peace and stability practice area. She is trained in advanced conflict assessment methodologies, holds a doctorate in cultural anthropology, and is fluent in French.
