We work to ensure that citizens have a full understanding of the impact of corruption and lack of transparency on decision making and overall governance.

By empowering citizens to be involved at all levels of government, they can hold officials and processes accountable.  To do this, we strengthen institutions and systems so countries can achieve this level of transparency.

We build the capacities, internal controls and auditing procedures of these institutions to foster transparency and accountability. We also strengthen legislative procedures, budget analysis, and executive oversight and support citizen access.

We believe that citizens should be empowered in the decision-making process to achieve the best outcomes for communities. We support local civil society organizations and forums for citizens to advocate for good governance and demand social accountability.
