Naeem Rasooly is the director of operations for MSI’s portfolio of projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Asia regions, which encompasses some of MSI’s most challenging projects. He is an accomplished project manager with more than 20 years of experience, including 13 years in the field managing diverse development projects in complex environments. He has a 360-degree perspective, having previously served as program manager (AOR/COR) with USAID and deputy chief of party on two field projects. He supervises approximately 25 project managers, and the programs under his portfolio focus on monitoring and evaluation, third-party monitoring, justice, grants, capacity building, education and youth, as well as providing technical assistance and training to USAID missions. Naeem holds an M.A. in development and governance from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He has Dari/Persian, Pashto, Urdu, and German (B2 Level) language skills.
