Lindsay McMahon is a technical director whose areas of expertise include decentralized and local governance, inclusive civic engagement, and civil society advocacy. She has worked in both stable and conflict-affected contexts to support government institutions, civil society organizations, and citizens’ groups to increase public participation in governance, and assist public agencies to become more responsive to citizens’ priorities. Lindsay has lived and worked in West, East, Central and Southern Africa, Central America, and South Asia. She holds master’s degrees in international affairs and public administration and a Ph.D. in public policy and public administration. She speaks fluent French and conversational Spanish.
