Kent Mortimore is the Chief of Team on the INL-funded Justice Sector Assistance Program (JSAP) based in Ramallah, Palestine. Kent has extensive experience in rule of law projects both in the Middle East (Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Palestine) and Asia (Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Laos, Philippines). He has worked in regions with active combat and in post-combat situations. Kent has 20 years of experience as a prosecutor in courts in the United States (Oregon) and as a war crimes prosecutor in Kosovo. His expertise includes case management, alternative dispute resolution, human rights, transitional justice, and ethics. He is an experienced trainer and lecturer and a member of the Oregon State Bar.
