Alaa Al Zubaidi is a senior project manager with over 15 years of project operations in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and other conflict-affected countries. She leads large, complex multimillion-dollar development projects to successful completion. Alaa specializes in USAID, DOS, OTI and OFDA projects in conflict mitigation, peacebuilding and civil society programming. Alaa managed MSI’s multimillion-dollar Iraq Strengthening National Capacity in Public Management Project (Tatweer), Iraq Primary Healthcare Project (PHCP-I), Iraq Administrative Reform Project (Tarabot), Mitigating Conflict in Iraqi Host Communities project (Takatuf), Iraq monitoring and evaluation project (IMEP) and Lebanon Community Resilience Initiative project (LCRI). She is currently supporting Tetra Tech’s Syria and Iraq Conventional Weapons Destruction projects, managing an Indonesia monitoring and evaluation project and Iraq Genocide Recovery and Persecution Response – Learning and Pilots Activity.
