Daniel Dobrovoljec

Daniel Dobrovoljec is the chief of party for the USAID/DRC Promoting Rule of Law Activity (PROLA) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), USAID’s first people-centered justice project in Africa. With more than three decades of field experience, Daniel has supported the work of USAID, the UN, and the EU in Francophone Africa. He has expertise in court administration, judicial reform, access to justice, institutional capacity building, countering violence extremism, community resilience in Africa, including Central African Republic, Cote d’Ivoire, Mauritania, Morocco, and Niger. He previously served as chief of party in Cote d’Ivoire (USAID ProJustice, 2013-2018) and DRC (USAID ProJustice, 2009-2013). Born in Guinea-Conakry and raised in Cote d’Ivoire, Daniel holds a master’s degree in political science and international relations from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
