Deborah Mancini Griffoli has 20 years of experience in peacebuilding, development, and humanitarian action. Her areas of focus are conflict resolution, rule of law, citizen security, civil society strengthening, and humanitarian protection, with particular consideration for gender and youth issues. Before joining MSI, Deborah designed, implemented, or evaluated dozens of donor-funded projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, and South Asia for various non-profit organizations. She authored research reports, handbooks, and best practice guides for policy makers and practitioners and delivered trainings for audiences in governments, security institutions, civil society, and academia. Deborah holds degrees in International Relations (BA) and History (MA) from Stanford University and speaks French, German, and Italian.
