MSI is pleased to announce the promotion of Kwashie Strong to the role of Vice President for Human Resources. For the last seven years, Kwashie has served as MSI’s Director of Human Resources, overseeing the company’s human resources, U.S.-based recruitment, and training teams. She also holds the role of Division Director, Human Resources for Tetra Tech Global Development Services. Kwashie will serve as a member of MSI’s executive management team, continuing to lead MSI’s human resources portfolio, in addition to compliance and business services. She will manage a team of eleven dedicated professionals that supports staff worldwide.
She is an experienced human resources professional with over 20 years of expertise in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, benefits, policy implementation, and training and development. Kwashie has also provided in-country direct human resources support and guidance to USAID-funded project staff in Lebanon, Lesotho, Mozambique, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, and Zambia.
During her time at MSI, Kwashie has led several important initiatives, including MSI’s Economic Dividends for Gender Equality (EDGE) certification in 2021 and the establishment of MSI’s Performance Facilitation Process.

Kwashie previously served in various human resource roles within international development organizations including Populations Services International (PSI) and AECOM International Development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Bowie State University.
