Providing Monitoring, Evaluation and Analytical Support in the Balkans

We support USAID Missions in the Balkans by meeting information needs to inform decision-making

Our long history of engagement in the Balkans continues with an ongoing series of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities provided via the Balkans Regional Support Services IDIQ.

Recent work through USAID’s regional mission includes a political economy analysis for Kosovo, a business enabling environment assessment for Serbia, and a Country Development and Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) results framework for Kosovo, as well as other strategic assessments and evaluations.

The political economy analysis received high-level political and media attention, and along with a focused democracy, human rights and governance strategic assessment provided key insights for the development of USAID/Kosovo’s CDCS.

We also recently completed a set of complex evaluations in Macedonia examining interventions for local governance, economic growth and climate change.

Along with our colleagues across Tetra Tech, we implement technical assistance activities in the region related to anti-corruption, rule of law, women’s empowerment and agricultural trade.
